Kidscape is a national charity that aims to provide children, families, carers and professionals with advice, training and practical tools to prevent bullying and protect young lives.
This year, Kidscape has teamed up with Andersen Press and Elmer the Elephant to encourage younger children in early years settings and primary schools to take part in ‘Friendship Friday’ (8th November) and Anti-Bullying Week (11th-15th November). A free resource pack is now available through the Kidscape website.
Schools can help younger children create kind, caring communities. The free pack stars Elmer the Elephant and is packed with activities to help young children spread love and happiness - just like Elmer. There are several ways schools can promote ‘Friendship Friday’ using social media. Suggested text is provided, as follows:
