The occupational health service supports staff, managers and HR in cases where health may affect attendance or performance at work or work may affect health
Employees are referred to the occupational health team by HR and are seen by the occupational health doctor or an occupational health specialist nurse.
The occupational health unit offers advice on all aspects of health and well-being. With a pro-active approach, the aim of the service is to support an individual to remain at work with advice on adaptations where necessary or to advise on a suitable rehabilitation programme and/or adaptations in order to help an individual return to work successfully following sickness.
